The Lynwood Unified community is invited to the District’s 10th annual Arts Festival and District Showcase from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, April 27, to celebrate students and their achievements in the visual and performing arts.
The free event will feature art activities, exhibits and performances from students across the District, from band to dance and everything in between. Other highlights:
- Conga Kids Dance will hold a culminating dance competition for fifth-grade students from all 12 elementary schools
- The Music Center Los Angeles is sponsoring a performance by INCA, the Peruvian Ensemble
- The Lynwood Partners Educational Foundation will contribute to prizes
